Collecting general information

If users leave comments in the blog, not only the comments themselves but also the time when they were created and the user name previously chosen by the visitor to the website will be saved. Use of script libraries (Google Fonts)

In order to display our content correctly and in a visually appealing manner regardless of the browser used, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Fonts ( on this website. Google Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache so that they do not need to be loaded repeatedly. If the browser does not support Google Fonts or prevents access, content will be displayed in a standard font.

The retrieval of script libraries or font libraries will automatically establish a connection to the operator of the library. In the process, it is theoretically possible that the operators of such libraries could collect data. At the moment, however, it is not clear whether they do this or for what purposes.

Use of Adobe Typekit

We use Adobe Typekit for the visual design of our website. Typekit is a service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd. which grants us access to a font library. In order to incorporate the fonts used by us, your browser must establish a connection to an Adobe server in the USA and download the font needed for our website. Use of Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API in order to display geographical information. When Google Maps are used, Google also collects, processes and uses data regarding the use of map functions by visitors. Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a site with a YouTube plug-in, a connection to YouTube servers will be established. In the process, YouTube is told which websites you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can match your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is launched, the provider will use cookies which collect information regarding user behaviour.

Anyone who has disabled the saving of cookies for the Google ad program should not expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos either. However, YouTube records non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must block the saving of cookies in the browser.

Social plug-ins

Social plug-ins for the providers listed below are used on our websites. You can recognize the plug-ins because they are marked with the relevant logo.

Via these plug-ins, information which can include personal data may be transferred to and used by the service operator. We prevent data being collected by and transferred to the service provider without your knowledge or consent with the help of a 2-click solution. In order to enable a social plug-in that you wish to use, you must first enable it by clicking on the corresponding button. Information will not be collected or transferred to the service provider until the plug-in is enabled in this way. Google AdWords

Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you arrived at our website via an advertisement placed by Google, Google AdWords will place a cookie on your computer. The cookie for conversion tracking will be set when a user clicks on an advertisement placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally. If a user visits specific pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user clicked on the advertisement and was forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. As a result, cookies cannot be traced via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking.
